The visitors to the SEMA stand from all over the world could convince themselves of the practical implementation of this concept. SEMA has incorporated the fields "timber construction", "stair design" and "facade & metal cladding" into one software suite in a unique way - from the initial draft plan to machine control. The BIM concept has thus been put into practice in a perfect manner.
In addition to the CAD functionality, the full efficiency for users will be achieved by the integration of WGsystem into the whole planning process. The CRM/ERP solution of WGsystem in combination with the planning and design tools of the SEMA software streamline the planning process - our existing customers confirm time-saving effects of up to 70%!
As accustomed, also the current program version V17-2 provides new sophisticated features: Completely new dimensions for the traditional joining have been opened up by the feature "Designing in Roof Layers". It is now possible to realise boardings, battens, ... in all layers of the roof structure by means of timber components. All processings located at the timber will be perfectly transferred to automated machine joining for production. In the field of stair design, primarily the railing has been given new components, which are also being transferred to all CNC machines thanks to the integrated CAM connection "SEMA connect powered by alphacam".
The 3D line has been added to the measurement functions via theodolite. It is thus possible, for example, to measure the contours of an existing frame construction or create auxiliary lines for the determination of quantities.
