In modern stairs, different materials such as wood, steel and glass are combined with contemporary design.
With our efficient master data technology and its sophisticated automatic features, layouts & drawings can be quickly created according to customer's wishes. And for standard stairs, flexible macros are available. Both these input options save a lot of time, not only when designing but also when actually building the stairs.
No matter whether it is about right-angled, oblique-angled or round stairs, designed as string, horse, bolt or concrete stairs - SEMA offers extensive editing funtions for even the most complex details. The integration of the stairs module into the SEMA software package embedds the stairs in the overall building and also offers constant 3D image updates to double-check the construction.
With presetting for the ideal stride and the necessary headroom, the program automatically calculates the best rise-run ratio for the stairs. Variable adaption features that take the minimum tread at the well mouth into account, help calculate the perfect stairs for the existing stairwell.
In the same way as parameters for the construction are stored in the program, also material parameters for treads and risers are stored in the program. Additionally, special steps such as solid rectangular steps can also be defined with parameters. In the final 3D version, every tread can be individually post-edited and adapted.
The possibility to combine different paling forms and materials with different handrail designs, open up a huge variety of individual design options for the stairs. By entering the position of the posts and the information for dividing the palings, the overall railing can be automatically calculated. In case of subsequent editings, all individual elements are automatically updated.
