MCAD combines the convenient features of the SEMA CAD with the high demands of machine control and material recording and evaluation. Even the most complex processings can be defined exactly in the construction program via simple inputs and can then be produced on a machine without any post-editing.
There is a trend to do more and more processings three-dimensionally. Free processing options such as free profiling, notches, drillings, markings, round arches, chamfers and many more are available in 2D as well as 3D. The combination with an intelligent visible/invisible feature enables the creation of very complex points of connection without losing the overall perspective.
SEMA offers an extensive selection of timber fasteners and brackets from all well-known manufacturers as part of the standard Master Data. All the relevant information for material evaluation are integrated and the necessary processings at the components are created automatically.
When the standard fasteners are not enough, the necessary special components including all required machine functionalities can be individually defined. If such special components are needed more than once, they can be saved in the SEMA Master Data and are thus automatically available for all projects.
