Acies becomes part of Buildtec Software Group

Wildpoldsried (DE) / Silkeborg (DK) – BuildTec Software Group, a dynamic European platform specializing in cutting-edge software solutions for the construction and trade sectors, is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Danish software provider, Acies A/S ("Acies"), through the acquisition of a majority stake.

With a rich history of 45 years, Acies is a Danish provider of configuration, manufacturing execution systems ("MES"), and production planning software for window, door, and kitchen manufacturers. Acies’ solutions adeptly handle the most intricate and industry-specific functional demands encountered in the construction, configuration, validation, and manufacturing processes of windows, doors, and kitchens.

In November 2023, BuildTec Software Group laid the groundwork for expanding its footprint in Scandinavia with the acquisition of E-KOMPLET A/S, a Danish ERP software provider serving the trade sector. Alongside Acies A/S and E-KOMPLET A/S, BuildTec Software Group, backed by Bregal Unternehmerkapital, brings together other renowned brands boasting a combined customer base of over 20,000. Notable among these are SEMA, a global leader in CAD/CAM software solutions for timber, staircase construction, and sheet metal processing; WGsystem, a provider of commercial software for various trade businesses; Compass, the premium software provider for staircase, timber, and window construction with a focus on CNC connections and workshop organization; and Hausmann & Wynen, featuring brands Powerbird and Sitara, specializing in ERP solutions tailored for electricians and other trade enterprises. Since January 2024, GLASER Programmsysteme GmbH with ISBCAD, a CAD solution for structural engineering, has also joined BuildTec Software Group.
