SEMA's move to the new headquarters

Good planning and reliable execution have been virtues of SEMA for over 35 years and so the big move could be mastered by joining forces and all employees were able to move into the new company headquarters on June 2nd, 2020.

The ground-breaking ceremony for the new SEMA company headquarters took place on May 15, 2019. After a little more than one year of construction, the new building is completed and equipped with a new, functional interior.

”With the new building, we are bringing together the departments that were historically distributed across  two buildings to work under one roof again. We are expecting an even more intense interaction, easier communication and accelerated internal processes,” says Alexander Neuss, Managing Director of the SEMA Group. The state-of-the-art two-story office building with approx. 1,800 sqm provides sufficient space for the development department, quality assurance, customer service, sales, marketing, finance department, administration and IT enabling them to cope with the upcoming challenges and tasks. Peter Kiesel, Head of Customer Service, adds: ”In particular, I am pleased to welcome future customers to the top-equipped training rooms here in Wildpoldsried. Far from day-to-day business, our customers can be trained in the use of the SEMA software in a practice-oriented and intensive manner.”

As a building material for the vital office buildings, wood creates a wonderfully balanced and healthy indoor climate. The employees feel more comfortable and are more able to concentrate and perform better. ”We, the company Regnauer Fertigbau GmbH & Co. KG, have witnessed the development of the SEMA company at first hand due to our cooperation with SEMA of almost 30 years now. We are particularly pleased that SEMA relies on our experience and know-how and commissioned us to plan and build their new company headquarters in our vital timber construction style. Resorting to our in-depth knowledge of individual, functional and customer-specific planning, we are able to significantly improve the processes, efficiency and performance of our customers in their new building,” says Michael Regnauer, Managing Director of Regnauer Fertigbau GmbH & Co. KG.

The foundations for the success story of a small, young and dynamic software company from Wildpoldsried were laid 36 years ago. ”The new company building represents another milestone in the history of our company. SEMA has meanwhile developed into an international player on the market with 9,800 customers in 54 countries. With the new building, we are investing in the future to be well prepared for the challenges ahead and future growth,” says Neuss. ”I would like to express my warmest thanks to our general contractor, the company Regnauer Fertigbau GmbH & Co. KG, for the construction and realisation of the project. I would also like to thank everyone involved in the construction for their tireless efforts,” explains Neuss. ”We wish SEMA all the best and every success in their new company headquarters.”, Michael Regnauer concludes.
